We’re excited to announce the Dawn Engine technical preview.

This preview focuses on the engine’s key differentiator — double-precision world coordinates. In large and distant scenes, traditional single-precision floats cause visible jitter and precision loss; Dawn Engine expresses world coordinates in 64-bit double precision to solve this at the root.

Preview highlights

  • double-precision world coordinates and World Streaming;
  • PolyTerrain mesh terrain and the HTN / Navigation3D AI suite;
  • O3DE-based modular Gem architecture with commercial delivery.
